Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales journey
• Proactively prospect for new customers through traditional and digital channels
• Manage and convert leads from our in-house marketing systems
• Understand customer needs through effective qualification and data capture
• Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets
• Collaborate with internal departments including marketing, finance, logistics, and technical teams
• Maintain high standards of administration and showroom presentation
• Stay up to date with product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activity
• Manage and report on KPIs set by Western Motors and Volkswagen

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in motor sales
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Target-driven with a proactive approach to sales
• Full, valid driver’s licence
• Availability to work Saturdays

Role Overview

The Parts Advisor plays a key role in supporting both our workshop and retail customers by ensuring the efficient supply and management of parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers and colleagues
• Supply parts to workshop technicians and retail customers efficiently
• Receive, check, and store parts deliveries accurately
• Identify and source parts using manufacturer systems and catalogues
• Maintain stock accuracy and organisation within the department
• Support workshop productivity through timely parts supply
• Promote additional parts and accessories where appropriate
• Assist with the management of slow-moving stock

Candidate Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Computer literacy

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage busy workload and multiple customers.
• Must be self-motivated, target driven and have an enthusiastic personality.
• Ability to sell a variety of add-on products.
• Familiarity with dealership finance process and DMS experience is highly advantageous.

A large part of the Commercial Sales Executive position involves:

• At Western Motors we strive for loyal customers, so maintaining positive customer relationships is a priority. Managing customer relationships, including keeping in regular contact at all stages of the buying process, must be a focus of the Commercial Sales Executive.
• Prospecting for new customers by the various traditional and digital channels.
• Utilising and converting leads give by our in-house marketing department and lead management system.
• Qualifying customers needs and data capture.
• Meeting sales targets on a continuous basis.
• Co-ordinating sales efforts with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical departments.
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
• Keeping abreast of products, updates, industry news and trends and competitor activity.
• Manage own KPI’s set by both Western Motors and Volkswagens Commercial Vehicles and report weekly to Brand Manager/Head of Sales

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent. 5 days across Monday to Saturday.
