CUPRA unveils CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT pack for Formentor and Leon at Red Bull Ring

CUPRA takes customisation further with a comprehensive package developed in collaboration with ABT, hand-assembled at the CUPRA Racing Factory

  • The CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT pack brings the sporty DNA of the CUPRA Leon VZ TCR and the CUPRA Formentor VZ5 to every engine variant
  • It includes specific exterior elements, including 19” alloy wheels, roof spoiler and ABT lettering, and is available to configure at point of purchase or through the CUPRA dealer network

CUPRA expands its range of personalisation options with the new CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT pack, developed jointly using ABT’s performance know-how alongside CUPRA’s unique attitude and design. The result is a comprehensive aero design package that brings a sharper, more aggressive sporty character to two models in CUPRA’s line-up. Thanks to this level of personalisation, each vehicle becomes even more unique, created specifically for the most passionate members of the CUPRA Tribe who seek the ultimate expression of the brand’s design: the CUPRA Leon , available in both 5-door and Sportstourer versions, and the CUPRA Formentor. The pack is available across the engine variants, from the top-range Formentor VZ5 down to 110kW (150PS), making some of the visual traits of the most performance-focused versions accessible to every customer.

Conceived and handcrafted at the CUPRA Racing Factory, the same facility behind some of CUPRA’s most iconic racing projects, the CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT pack is the first factory-born customisation package of its kind, developed under CUPRA’s exacting quality standards and full homologation, ensuring the highest standards of precision and fit. It can also be retrofitted through the CUPRA dealer network..
This special edition was presented during the 5th edition of the CUPRA Performance Days, which took place from 10–13 June 2026 at the iconic Red Bull Ring circuit in Austria. The event, a professional, controlled environment for experiencing CUPRA performance, technology and driving dynamics, brought together around 320 participants, including media from Spain, Italy, UK, Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Czech Republic as well as dealers and customers.
Nearly 40 CUPRA vehicles, with a focus on high-performance and electric models, including the new Formentor VZ5 and the fully electric Raval, were exhibited at the event.

CUPRA LEON: THE RACING SILHOUETTE

The CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT pack elevates the CUPRA Leon and CUPRA Leon Sportstourer with a striking performance design package that channels the racing DNA of the competition-bred Leon VZ TCR. The exterior transformation is defined by a front splitter and sculpted side skirts that sharpen the car's profile, leading to an assertive rear upgraded with a roof spoiler, winglets, C-flap mouldings and a redesigned lower diffusor with lateral decoratives. Grounding this track-inspired stance are high-end 19-inch CUSTOM alloy wheels, combined on selected powertrains with wider, high-performance tyres, while the vehicle features exclusive ABT branding in the roof spoiler amongst others. Finally, exterior CUPRA logos in Dark Chrome elevate the model to special edition status, reinforcing the exclusivity of the customisation.

  • Pack contents – CUPRA Leon (standard models): Roof spoiler, rear C-flaps, rear winglets, rear splitter, side skirts, front splitter, dark chrome logo, specific rear diffusor, 19” Mistral alloy wheels in sport black matt.
  • Pack contents – CUPRA Leon VZ: Same contents as standard models, with 19” CUSTOM alloy wheels in sport black matt. Tyre width  245 mm (only for VZ 221 kW/300PS and 239 kW/325PS / Sportstourer VZ 245 kW/333PS engines or paired with Akebono brakes).

CUPRA FORMENTOR: THE CROSSOVER SUV REINVENTED

The CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT pack for the CUPRA Formentor echoes the rebellious spirit of the flagship VZ5, bringing its unmistakable, high-performance look to the full model range. The exterior transformation begins up front with a sharp splitter and sculpted Front air curtain frames that intensify the Crossover SUV's aggressive stance. Down the sides, distinctive door mouldings, visually lowering the car’s stance, further enhanced by a roof spoiler and C-flap mouldings. Striking 19-inch CUSTOM alloy wheels and the exclusive ABT lettering anchor this commanding, track-inspired design. Finally, Dark Chrome CUPRA logos underline the refined exclusivity of the customisation.

  • Pack contents – CUPRA Formentor (all models except VZ5): Roof spoiler, rear C-flaps, front air curtain frames, rear splitter, side door moldings, front splitter, dark chrome logos, 19” CUSTOM alloy wheels in sport black matt.
  • Pack contents – CUPRA Formentor VZ5 (2.5 TSI 287 kW/390PS 4DRIVE): Roof spoiler, rear C-flaps, front air curtain frames, side door moldings, dark chrome logos, 20” VZ5 Exclusive alloy wheels in glossy black. Note: rear splitter and front splitter are not included on the VZ5.

Every CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT pack is assembled by hand at the CUPRA Racing Factory, underscoring the high-end quality and attention to detail. The process ensures full homologation and a seamless, factory-grade fit.
