Service Advisor - Galway Branch

Join the Aftersales Team at Western Motors Galway, Main dealer for Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz Parts & Service. .We are now recruiting for an additional Service Advisor to join our busy Service Team. As first point point of contact for many of our customers, you will be required to be friendly & professional approach to customers at all times.

DESCRIPTION

· Ensure that all bookings are accurately completed and all the relevant data is included.

· To follow up and provide feedback to customers on the status of their vehicle.

· Upsell additional work/accessories to customers where it is beneficial to do so.

· Plan workshop orders and assign technicians with the co-operation of the Workshop Manager.

· Obtain customer approval for additional work and provide this information to the Workshop Manager.

· Check and approve the complete and correct invoicing for services.

· Organise test drives to ensure correct diagnosis by a Service Technician and Workshop Manager.

· Explain the invoice to the customer prior to handover.

· Deliver excellence in customer handling and processing ability to work under pressure and remain calm - to handle customers effectively.

· Maintain customer satisfaction in line with Dealer and Manufacturers standards.

REQUIREMENTS

· Excellent communication skills – ability to communicate eloquently in both written and verbal formats, both face-to-face and remotely.

· Outstanding organisational skills and ability to manage own time effectively.

· Excellent Computer Skills.

· Have good mechanical awareness or understand of car parts would be an advantage.
