It was back in 1974 when the first Golf rolled off the production line. The Golf “Edition 50” special model is celebrating this moment with very special design and equipment highlights.
Our special model wears its badge with pride. With the illuminated Volkswagen front logo, the attractive bumpers, the 18-inch Leeds rim with black inserts and the new headlights and tail light clusters with dynamic turn signals, the anniversary model is at the cutting edge of technology while maintaining the visual merits of the classic Golf. Tinted side and rear windows and a 3D badge on the B-pillar boasting the number “50” add further to the stylish look.
Our anniversary model shines both inside and out, and not only in terms of the high-gloss black centre console: the 32.7 cm (12.9 inch) infotainment display allows you to enjoy your infotainment on a new level.. The headliner in “Soul Black”, the pedal caps in brushed stainless steel and the steering wheel clip and sill panel trim with Edition 50 emblem round off the elegant overall impression.
You can gently illuminate the interior of your new Golf as an option with just a tap of the finger and choose from up to 30 colours. Multiple light strips allow you to create a personalised lighting atmosphere.
The optional advanced main-beamcontrol Dynamic Light Assist improves visibility at night. The system can detect oncoming vehicles and vehicles ahead and automatically masks the corresponding areas of your main beam headlights.1
In built-up areas, the vehicle also switches automatically from main beam to dipped beam. For you this means that you can drive for longer and more often with the main beam on. Streets are thus better illuminated and obstacles can be detected earlier.
