Vacancy - Customer Showroom Receptionist - Galway Branch

Western Motors in Galway are looking for a Customer Service Receptionist for our Volkswagen Showroom.

This is a stand-alone role, as you will be the sole Showroom Host / Receptionist on site.

Duties include:

• Professionally greet customers (either face to face or over the phone) to the dealership.

• Encourage rapport building with customers who are waiting and ensure they are not left unattended for long periods of time.

• Ensure the even distribution of sales/service and parts enquiries.

• Accurately log calls and record messages ensuring all enquiries are passed on efficiently to the appropriate person in a timely fashion.

• Facilitate in maintaining the high levels of quality service that our customers expect.

• Ensure that the reception areas are clean, tidy and commensurate with the Corporate image.

• General Administration Duties, including typing, maintenance of our customer database, uploading car details and photographs to our website, compiling used car lists, doing vehicle change of ownership on-line, etc.

Person Specification:

• Previous experience of working in a customer facing role or on a busy reception is an advantage.

• Excellent understanding of the importance of customer needs and how to meet them.

• Excellent telephone/communication skills/interpersonal skills and ability to prioritise calls and workload.

• Possess strong numerical ability and IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular.

• Ability to follow a structured process to obtain accurate and full customer details.

• Warm and friendly personality portraying a professional image to all customers.

Hours: 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week). May be a requirement for Saturday working from 10am to 2pm in the first quarter of the year.

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience - we are looking for someone with the right attitude and will provide full training.

A probationary period of 6 months shall apply from commencement of employment.
