Western Motors Galway are seeking an Aftersales Manager for our Galway Branch

Western Motors Group, a Main Volkswagen Car & Vans, Skoda authorised Dealership along with being a Mercedes-Benz Authorised Aftersales Partner has an exciting opportunity for an Aftersales Manager to join the team in our Galway Dealership. 

As our Aftersales Manager you will be responsible for the achievement of labour sales performance and profitability objectives combining a consistent achievement of these along with a genuine passion to deliver outstanding levels of customer satisfaction. You will need to be an excellent communicator with the ability to motivate, coach and develop your team of Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz Technicians, Service and Parts Advisors.

The ideal candidate…

  • You will be able to demonstrate proven experience in a similar role within a main automotive dealership environment.
  • A desire to make Western Motors one of the strongest performing Aftersales teams in the network with a clear determination to meet and exceed targets and KPI's.
  • A detailed understanding of Aftersales processes.
  • A well organised individual with excellent attention to detail.
  • The capability to quickly establish and build relationships by demonstrating a professional and organised approach.
  • The ability to analyse data to identify opportunity and drive performance.
  • Advanced knowledge of CDK Drive is preferential
  • Accountable for all workshop, service and the parts department staff, you will manage, coach and develop the team to reach their full potential and performance.
  • Growing workshop utilisation and efficiency.
  • Working closely with other department managers to drive the overall centre performance

About you

  • This role would ideally suit someone who has previously worked as a Senior Service Advisor, Service Manager, Parts Manager, Assistant Aftersales Manager or experienced Aftersales Manager.
  • You will have the drive and talent to push the department forward; working to achieve agreed KPI’s and brand standards.
  • You must be able demonstrate a profitable and successful track record of delivering outstanding results as well as delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • In addition your need to have strong management and leadership skills, winning mentality and a real passion for the brand.
