Covid Business Operations Update - 31st December 2020

Following the government’s announcement last night our Business Operations will change again as follows for the restricted period of lockdown until 31st January 2021. Our priority remains the health and safety of our staff and customers and in having COVID resistant surroundings and to this end the wearing of face coverings and use of hand sanitisers will remain mandatory at both of our locations for the foreseeable future.

Our Sales & Finance teams will continue to work through our’ Digital Dealership’ and we are delighted that so many of you continue to use the our ‘Live Chat’ and ‘Virtual Appointment’ services  at www.westernmotors.ie.  These easy-to-use features connect you directly to our sales staff, allowing us to answer your sales enquiries and provide additional vehicle information during the restricted times and to further proceed with sales in hand.  We have also added to our Click and Collect services with the facility to reserve cars online securely with just a small deposit.

Our fantastic range of used cars and vans come with our promise that every vehicle is fully sanitised before handover.  Each vehicle also comes with the peace of mind of a manufacturer guarantee, roadside assistance and a pre-sale service. We have also introduced the ‘WM Used Car Grading System’. Designed to facilitate the buying and selling process of used vehicles in a condition that is fully understood by both parties. This system greatly facilitates our new Value my Trade-Infeature. With a better understanding of a vehicle condition we can more accurately anticipate a selling price that is consistent with the typically observed prices for similar vehicles in the same trading period, subject to similar market conditions.  We believe transparency and experienced valuations are required for a trusted partnership.

Our Aftersales teams will work to keep our workshops open, both for emergencies and to also, where possible, maintain our customers vehicles as we make our way through the challenging Winter season. If you cannot travel to us safely, and within guidelines *, during the restricted times, please try to check your oil and coolant/antifreeze levels, you can buy these by phone for collection with our Parts Departments. 

 

(* Note: Please keep a copy of your service booking with you if you are travelling outside of the 5KM range as proof of your essential service travel.)

 

Aftersales in our Galway Branch will be open Monday - Friday 9AM to 6PM and Saturday 9AM to 5PM, by appointment only. There will be no walk-in service.

 

Our Drogheda Branch Service & Parts will remain open Monday to Friday 8AM to 6.30PM and Saturday 8AM to 5PM and will also work by appointment only. Parts can be ordered at both locations, paid for by phone and safely collected at our Collection Points.
