The successful ID family continues to grow with the introduction of the VW ID.5 the first electric SUV coupé form Volkswagen. The ID.5 is quieter inside and slightly louder on the outside up to speeds of 30kmh, to increase traffic safety. This car is slightly bigger that the ID4 range and the base ID5 boasts rear-wheel drive and a single electric motor with two power options, while the GTX version has a second motor at the front axle and all-wheel drive. The GTX has a 0 to 100 kph (62 mph) time of 6.3 seconds. The headlights of the ID5’s is almost identical to the ID4’s but you will spot some deeper front bumpers on the ID5 GTX to reflect its sportier character.
